National Dialogue Network is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. Local, national conversation only works if everyone can actually get in the room — that principle applies to this site as much as it does to any dialogue we host.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the benchmark most commonly used to evaluate ADA compliance for websites.
Accessibility isn't a one-time checklist — it's something we revisit as the site evolves. We periodically review pages using both automated tools and manual testing, and we correct issues as we find them.
Some content is embedded from third-party services — for example, our introductory video (hosted on Vimeo) and the Polis dialogue platform demo. These tools are outside our direct control, and their accessibility may vary. If you hit a barrier in one of these embeds, let us know and we'll do what we can to help or point you to an alternative.
